Go-Ahead appoints new Chairman

The Go-Ahead Board has appointed Clare Hollingsworth as non-executive Chairman.
She will take up the post as Designate on 1 August, and succeed Andrew Aliner, who is stepping down and retiring as non-executive Chairman, after the company’s AGM on 31 October.
Clare is leaving the Eurostar International board, on which she has been a non-executive Chairman since 2013.
She says: “The Go-Ahead board has evolved a clear strategy based on the core belief that generating value for investors happens when you meet the needs of the customers and communities you serve. The business is well positioned to deliver on its current commitments and look at future opportunities to grow.”
