Panache Travel among early Yutong GT12 buyers

A Yutong GT12 has been supplied to Hedge End-based Panache Travel by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

It is the first GT12 for Panache, and it joins several smaller TC9s already in the Hampshire operator’s fleet.

It is finished in metallic silver and has 53 seats along with a centre sunken toilet. Owner Monier Kiblawi collected the new coach from Pelican’s dedicated showroom at its Castleford base.

Power in the GT12 comes from a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 450bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Yutong has designed the coach specifically for the European market and it incorporates many modern design ideas, not least among which is an LCD dash, where all dials are created digitally.
