Mellor Strata delivered to Essex County Council

Fleet development at Essex County Council (ECC) has seen it add a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Mellor Strata bodywork.

The 22-seater will be used on service 381 between Harlow and Epping six days a week. The model’s compact dimensions while still delivering a big bus feel were one of the reasons that ECC went for the Strata, says Ugobus Manager Paul Blackwell.

“It has excellent passenger comfort and a variety of benefits including wi-fi and USB charging points. It has been well-received by users and drivers alike.”
