BYD has announced Kevin Wale will be a new Senior Advisor to BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu.

Kevin will counsel Wang on developing BYD’s business, operations and marketing strategy, as well as brand construction and sales and service system improvement.

After first joining General Motors in 1975, he became the President and Managing Director of General Motors China from 2005 to 2012.

Kevin says: “I hope that I can bring some of my global experience to support BYD’s innovation capabilities and help it strengthen its leadership in NEV businesses.”
