Jason Edwards, Director of Edwards Coaches and High Sheriff of Mid-Glamorgan, is supporting the High Sheriff of South Glamorgan Andrew Rhys Howell in a bid to raise funds for NHS Wales – with a poem.

Stars of song, stage and screen were invited to come together to read the poem, written by Donna Ashworth from Ladies Pass it On, in support of the Welsh NHS.

The poem is spoken by Michael Sheen, Jonathan Davies, Sir Gareth Edwards, Max Boyce, Alun Myn Jones and 17 others in a video.

Says Andrew: “The idea was to feature Glamorgan voices from the world of opera, theatre, film and sport while supporting the Welsh NHS. We are so lucky to have such a diverse pool of talent to call upon. To be Welsh means you’ll always have music in your voice.

“The poem captures the Welsh spirit, hwyl and passion that we all feel towards our dedicated frontline that we are so proud of.”

Accompanying the poem is a justgiving page for public donations to the Welsh NHS.
