Zeelo, the smart bus-sharing company that provides safe transportation services for commuting and school runs, has opened up its technology platform Zeeride to all operators after a successful closed beta launch.
Zeeride, which opened to a few beta users in August of this year, is a platform that allows coach and bus operators of any size – large or small – to digitalise their own services.
Operators that join the platform can offer pre-booking (via individual tickets and subscriptions), vehicle tracking and service reporting features without the hassle or cost of building and maintaining the technology themselves.
Zeeride allows coach operators to very quickly and easily add the following features to school routes, commuting services, events and trips:
- E-ticketing via a website or app
- Operator Platform, to manage ticket revenue, routes and services
- Live tracking and service updates
- Client reporting and a driver app.
Having had a successful beta launch, with coach operators such as Greys of Ely using the platform, Zeeride is now available for a public launch.
Luke Ryan, Zeelo’s Head of Growth, says: “We’re excited for what the future holds. From August until October we had a successful beta phase, we have learnt a lot and based on this feedback we are continuing to shape a product that perfectly fits users’ needs”.
Zeelo is encouraging operators of all sizes to get in touch to demo Zeeride and see what it has to offer, The supplier is confident that once an operator uses the product, it will wonder how it ever operated without it.
50% Zeeride discount for routeone readers
Zeelo is also offering a discount to readers.
“We understand that these are not easy times for the industry and many businesses are struggling,” adds Mr Ryan. “We are massive supporters of the industry and believe we will come through this stronger together, so will that in mind, we are offering 50% off the first three months of the service.”
