Yellow Coaches, part of Bournemouth-based Yellow Buses, has partnered with established London operator Golden Tours to operate a new open-top sightseeing tour in and around the south coast resort. It will launch on Saturday 29 May.

The agreement comes ahead of what is likely to prove a “phenomenal year” for domestic tourism, with high numbers of visitors expected in Bournemouth, says Yellow Coaches Managing Director David Squire. He adds that the new service will operate until the end of August and use Golden Tours-liveried open-top vehicles with taped commentary.

Adds Golden Tours MD Mikesh Palan: “We are excited to reach new destinations around the UK, and with this summer set to be a popular one for domestic holidays and day trips, Bournemouth is the perfect match for our next hop-on, hop-off open top bus service.

“We are proud to have partnered with the highly respected local operator Yellow Coaches on this new venture.”
