Scottish operator Park’s of Hamilton, which runs coach hire and city express services, has taken delivery of eight Plaxton Elite coaches with PSVAR specification from Alexander Dennis.
The vehicles will see service across Scotland. They are 13.2m long examples built on the Volvo B8R chassis.
Features on each coach include an entrance-mounted wheelchair lift, alloy wheels, a head-up display driver warning system and Haptic-feedback driver’s seat, vehicle wash-down and vacuum systems, heated front upper and lower windscreens, and a 360-degree CCTV system.
Customer comforts include 53 seats with extended leather headrests, piping, sports trim, armrests, automatic de-recline, seat back tables, magazine nets and fixed footrests. There are two TV monitors on board each coach, alongside a smart audio system with Bluetooth, USB charging sockets on all seats, and on-board wi-fi.
