The National Coach Network platform is working with the Transplant Patients Trust to provide financial help to people awaiting organ transplants.

The Trust, which was founded in 1991 by surgeon Ross Taylor and offers support such as childcare, travel, parking, recovery support, clothing and white goods, will receive financial and marketing support from National Coach Network through annual donations and mentions on social media.

“As a transplant recipient and Trustee of the Trust, I regularly see and hear of the physical, mental and financial impact that organ transplantation has on patients and on their families,” says Director of National Coach Network, Matthew Atkinson. “The Transplant Patients Trust do an amazing job and it is an honour that National Coach Network can now provide support to a cause that is so close to our hearts.”

It is understood that some 6,239 people are currently awaiting a transplant in the UK, with 3,174 people receiving a transplant since April 2021. Donations to the Trust can be made by clicking these red words.
