Woodstones Coaches is among the first operators to take delivery of a vehicle built on the new generation Scania coach chassis. It has added to its fleet a KNI 360 with 57-seat Irizar i4 bodywork that is PSVAR compliant.

Owner Richard Meredith notes that the Kidderminster operator is entering its fourth year of running Scania Irizar coaches. “Over that time, we have gathered an in-depth knowledge and confidence about the reliability of the Scania chassis,” he explains.

“All of our coaches are inspected and serviced at Keltruck Droitwich, and the team there understand the challenges and needs of a coach operator. Our drivers all love Scania coaches, especially as they have plenty of space and technology, which makes their work environment an enjoyable place to be.”

Scania UK recently introduced its latest-generation chassis range, which promises a fuel consumption reduction over its predecessor. Says UK Retail Sales Manager Lee Wale: “We are delighted to supply another vehicle to Woodstones Coaches.

“Richard knows exactly what he wants from a coach and the early signs are that the new generation chassis is living up to expectations by providing excellent fuel savings.”
