Bysiau Cwm Taf Valley Coaches has taken delivery of its first Volvo B8RLE with MCV Evora bodywork. The 10.8m bus has 38 seats and it is being primarily used on a route between Carmarthen and Haverfordwest.

Also joining the Whitland operator is a B8R coach with MCV Evotor bodywork in a continuation of the business’s relationship with Volvo Bus.

Says Founder Clive Edwards: “We know how reliable Volvo vehicles are, as we’ve had plenty of them, but this is the first time that we have specified a smaller MCV Evora. We are very pleased with it and I would not hesitate to order another when it is required.” Mr Edwards adds that driver and passenger feedback on the new bus has been good.

Comments Volvo Bus Regional Account Manager Simon Woolacott: “Bysiau Cwm Taf Valley Coaches has always been a good Volvo customer and I am delighted that it is so pleased with the new Evora.

“It is ideally suited to the testing yet beautiful terrain in West Wales. Being slightly smaller in length at 10.8m makes it much easier for the driver to handle.” The 10.8m B8RLE Evora complements a longer 12.1m variant in Volvo’s range.
