FlixBus has promoted Hayley Russell to the position of UK Operations Team Lead. She steps up from having previously been Senior Operations Manager and will be responsible for the scheduled service provider’s operations strategy in addition to heading its team in that area.
Part of Ms Russell’s new responsibilities will see her manage the introduction of new routes, destinations and operator partners to the business. She will also share best practice and implement new processes with parent Flix’s global operations department.
Ms Russell says that a priority of hers is to help make the transport sector as diverse as possible, with a particular focus on encouraging more women to take up work in the industry.
Speaking about her promotion, she says: “FlixBus is a brand, a business and a work family that I have come to love and feel incredibly proud of. I am really excited to lead the UK operations team on this journey as we grow the network to become the leading provider in the country and deliver excellent customer experience across all our services.”
