Esk Valley Coaches of Whitby has continued its investment in the Temsa brand with the delivery of an MD9 midicoach, supplied by Temsa Sales UK.

The MD9 is to PSVAR compliant layout, with an additional door and lift mounted behind the front axle. It has 34 seats, and a floor-level toilet mounted at the offside rear. Power is from the Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 280bhp and 1,100Nm of torque driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

In the Esk Valley fleet, the MD9 joins other coaches from the Temsa stable, including a number of current-generation HD12 examples.

To complement the toilet equipped MD9, the supplier offers the 9.48m midicoach in an alternative layout with up to 39 seats.
