Coach Hire 4 U has added to its fleet a pair of Irizar i6S Efficient integrals, supplied by Irizar UK. Both are 14m examples with 61 seats that include drop-down tables, USB charging sockets and three-point belts.
The coaches showcase a refreshed livery for the Luton operator, a scheme that was created in collaboration with designers at the Irizar factory.
They also come with the manufacturer’s rear-view camera system in place of mirrors, which is part of a package of measures deployed on the i6S Efficient to minimise fuel consumption.
Other elements of the vehicles’ specification include a centre sunken toilet, a built-in vacuum cleaner, and a Bosch Smart Series audio unit and Actia DVD player coupled to twin monitors. Wood effect flooring is fitted along with blue LED mood lighting.
Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 449bhp driving through ZF’s Traxon automated manual gearbox. The pair will be deployed by Coach Hire 4 U on private hire work domestically and further afield.
