The Coach Drivers’ Club (CDC) Yearbook – the definitive guide for coach drivers and group tour organisers alike – is now available to buy. The Yearbook takes some of the legwork out of planning and running a trip, making it easier for those within the coach tourism industry to do the important work that they do.

With 400-plus pages to guide and inspire coach drivers and tour organisers, the CDC Yearbook has a reputation for being “the coach driver’s bible” – and this year’s edition is no exception.

The 2017 Yearbook takes a comprehensive look at the UK and Ireland, region by region, detailing everything that drivers and tour organisers need to know to create and run every aspect of their excursions and tours.

Each region has its own introduction, complete with information on the highlights of each region – making for indispensable reading when it comes to find inspiration for itineraries.

The Yearbook is created with drivers in mind – with only coach-friendly destinations and attractions included to make it as easy as possible for group tour organisers to tailor-make their itineraries to best suit the needs of their groups and staff.

With parking information for 669 towns across the UK and Ireland, the Yearbook is essential when planning pick-ups, drop-offs and meal stops, as well as discovering hidden gems that could be woven into itineraries while drivers enjoy well-deserved rest periods.

Maps of each region are also included, allowing drivers to plan their routes effectively – wherever their next trip might take them.

There are approximately 3250 attractions listed in the Yearbook, complete with relevant addresses and contact information, making it straightforward to plan tours to attractions that welcome groups.

For operators, the Yearbook is surely an investment – the importance of providing drivers with the right information for their travels cannot be understated, and the information found within the Yearbook can aid those within the industry for the year to come.

Tracey Harrison of the CDC says: “It’s important for drivers to know that where they’re headed is coach-friendly – and that’s one of the best things about the CDC Yearbook.

“It’s a one-stop-shop for the most up to date coach-friendly parking information. It’s the definitive planning tool, and operators really do need it.”

CDC members can enjoy a discounted price of £12.99 when purchasing the Yearbook. Operators can also enjoy a discounted rate when buying in bulk.
