Nova Bussing of Rye has added two more Yutong coaches to its fleet, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

One each of the GT12 and the TC9 have been delivered to the East Sussex operator. They are both finished in black. The newcomers join outwardly identical existing examples of both types and are each to a high specification.

Power in the GT12 is from a DAF MX-11 engine developing 450bhp, while the TC9 uses a Cummins B6.7 producing 320bhp. The ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox is common across both coaches.

Pelican Area Sales Manager Phil Hodgson handled the purchase. UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins notes that the new Yutongs fit with the Nova Bussing ethos of offering clients a high level of service and care, “going the extra mile to satisfy requirements and making the whole travelling experience a special one.”

Adds Mr Collins: “We are very grateful for the repeat orders and we look forward to these vehicles being successful additions on the south coast.”
