RHA has confirmed dates for its third National Coach Week, which is scheduled to take place between 8-12 April.
The annual event has become a staple in the UK’s coach industry calendar following a successful inauguration in 2022.
National Coach Week aims to highlight the industry’s strengths and innovations, involving RHA members and numerous stakeholders. The event has seen growth since its debut in April 2022, when it was introduced as an initiative to celebrate and promote the coach industry in the wake of challenging years for the sector.
Building on the success of the first event, the 2023 National Coach Week saw RHA intensify its advocacy efforts, urging operators to engage with MPs and promote awareness of the sector’s role in public transport and the broader economy. The 2023 event also saw the launch of a coach manifesto and policy paper, alongside a parliamentary event focusing on industry challenges and solutions, particularly in the context of the net-zero transition.
Details about specific events and initiatives for National Coach Week 2024 are yet to be announced, however the event is expected to continue the trend of being a key forum for advocacy and promotion within the coach sector.
