Food-related fam took in plenty of Melton Mowbray’s famous pork pie

Melton Mowbray has welcomed 17 UK coach tour operators and GTOs on a fam organised by Leicestershire Promotions.

The fam was attended by Complete Pleasure, Lordship Leisure Groups and Belle Coaches, among others, and stayed overnight at the Sysonby Knoll Hotel.

Activities included a guided food heritage tour; lunch at the Harboro Hotel; a pork pie-making demonstration at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe; cheese tasting at The Melton Cheeseboard; a brewery tour at Belvoir Brewery and dinner at Belvoir Alehouse; a tour of Belvoir Castle, and a tour of Wymondham Windmill.
