National Express West Midlands has launched a community partnership with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals Trust.
The operator’s West Bromwich garage, which has over 500 employees, selected the Trust as its local community partner, and is focusing its charitable efforts on supporting them with events throughout the year.
John Coulson, National Express West Midlands Master Driver Manager, says: “We are delighted to launch our partnership with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospital Trust.
“We are all looking forward to developing the community partnership and seeing how else we can support the charity in delivering their fantastic services for the local community.”
Staff and drivers are also being encouraged to take part in various fundraising activities to raise much needed funds towards the cost of equipment needed to treat and care for babies and young people in the local area.
