Balmoral in Hellesylt, Norway

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is offering group travel organisers a guided tour of its 1,350-guest flagship Balmoral in August.

The ship will dock in Newcastle on Wednesday 23 August, and at 0930hrs GTOs will be invited onboard for a welcome drink and introduction, followed by a comprehensive tour of the ship, then light lunch, finishing at 1330hrs.

In 2018, Balmoral will offer sailings out of Southampton, Newcastle and – for the first time – Rosyth.

Sophie Thomas, Group Sales Executive for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, says: “Ship visits are an ideal way for organisers to experience our product at first hand, before promoting a cruise to group members.

“Newcastle Port, just like Rosyth (Edinburgh), is well placed to visit Northern Europe, and our ‘Norwegian Fjords’ cruises are particularly popular with guests keen to experience this breathtakingly beautiful part of the world.”

Groups are welcome on all Fred Olsen cruises and, depending on the size of the group, they may be eligible for a choice of ‘added value’ benefits.
