Comfort Coaches of Slough has added to its fleet a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a Transfer 45 minicoach conversion, supplied by EVM.
The vehicle has 22 seats with three-point belts and aisle-side folding armrests. Each position is finished in synthetic leather with diamond stitching. Access on the Transfer 45 is through an OEM sliding side door, beneath which is a powered external step. Within the opening are a grab rail and a modesty panel.
Original Mercedes-Benz side windows are fitted, with a dark tint. A glass rooftop vent with a break-glass hammer is also provided, while a roof-mounted air-conditioning unit is complemented by in-dash provision, and heaters in the passenger area.
Full-length luggage racks include passenger service units and reading lights. The minicoach also comes with a reversing camera and a Mercedes-Benz multimedia unit with a seven-inch touch screen display.
USB points are fitted along with wood-effect non-slip flooring. At the rear are OEM hinged doors and a boot, while side skirts have been added. The base vehicle for the Comfort Coaches Transfer 45 is a Sprinter 517 finished in selenite grey, and drive is taken via a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox.
