Leytonstone-based firm takes a pair of 12.9m i6 integrals; a further i4 integral is due for school work
Leytonstone, East London-based Goldline Executive Travel has grown its fleet with a pair of Irizar i6 integral coaches, and they will be joined by a lower-height i4 integral soon.
The i6 integrals are 12.9m 57-seaters that come with USB charging points along with a variety of other items. They have the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 400bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
Early performance has been good, says Director Abdul Rafeeq. “We are also looking forward to the arrival of our next new coach – an i4 integral, which we have ordered primarily for school work. With 70 seats, it will be able to carry two classes plus their teachers.”
Irizar products now account for half of the Goldline Executive Travel coach fleet and the operator also operates minicoaches, limousines and taxis.
“We can provide a complete wedding service using our Rolls-Royces, limousines and our luxury coaches,” adds Mr Rafeeq.
Other work undertaken by the operator includes contracts with various London Boroughs, tours, and for its expanding private and corporate client base.
The i4 and i6 integrals are supplied by Irizar UK, and they are complemented in its line-up by the top-spec i8 integral. Irizar UK will also introduce the i6S integral to the UK market at this year’s Coach and Bus UK show, to be held at the NEC Birmingham on 4-5 October, as revealed earlier this year.
