Pelican Bus and Coach has appointed Andrew Mageer (pictured) as Fleet Engineer, where he will focus on account management for fleet buyers of Yutong products.
Mr Mageer is a longstanding member of the coach and bus industry, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and technical experience of the sector to the role at Pelican.
He has worked across dealership and operator roles and includes EVM, Irizar UK, Switch Mobility and Volvo on his CV. Mr Mageer has also worked for Ellisons Travel, and he joins from DAF dealership North West Trucks, where he was a master technician.
Pelican describes Mr Mageer as having “an unrivalled experience on both coach and bus products.”
Adds Yutong Aftersales Manager Katrina Hogan: “We are very pleased that Andy has joined the business to further enhance our aftermarket support package.
“Andy brings many years of technical experience to the position of Fleet Engineer, and he will be a valuable addition to the team. He will focus primarily on the account management of fleet customers and assist in creating an unrivalled customer experience.
“We have doubled our investment in aftermarket support over the past two years as our market penetration continues to grow.”
