Fire crews were recently called after a Go North East bus caught fire in Chester-le-Street, County Durham.

Go North East’s Manageing Director, Kevin Carr, confirmed the blaze occured on the single-decker “due to electrical failure”. 

The driver and one passenger on board were unhamered. However, neighbouring cars in the area have suffered damage from the heat.
