Alfa Travel has continued its dependence on the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo with the arrival of 10 more of those coaches, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.

They come as the business says that it is seeing a growing demand for UK coach holidays, with use of premium coaches to deliver those tours a priority, the operator adds.

A host of safety features are standard on the Tourismo. Alfa Travel also specifies Webfleet telematics and a Lytx camera system; the vehicles additionally have wi-fi and USB charging points to aid customer connectivity.

Speaking about the coaches, Managing Director Emma Russell says: “We are thrilled to welcome these new vehicles into our fleet. This significant investment underscores our commitment to offering customers high-quality holidays, with a focus on safety, comfort and environmental sustainability.

“Our Alfa coaches are incredibly popular with customers and these latest additions will only enhance the travel experience. We look forward to seeing our drivers warmly welcoming passengers onboard as the coaches hit the road.”
