Stagecoach East Midlands will mark the 100th anniversary of its bus depot in Grimsby with an event for the public this summer.
The depot, which was also briefly used for trams until 1937, was opened on 6 April 1925.
Past and present employees, transport enthusiasts, and the wider community are set to gather at the site on Victoria Street for an event which will be free and open to the public.
Historic bus displays, guided depot tours and family-friendly events such as face painting, live entertainment, and interactive exhibits will be included. More details will be released in due course.
Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, says: “We are incredibly proud to reach this historic milestone. The Grimsby bus depot has played an integral role in shaping local transport, connecting communities, and evolving with the times.
“This celebration is a tribute to all those who have contributed to its success over the last century.”
The operator says the depot has been “a cornerstone of public transport in the region, providing reliable service and adapting to the changing needs of passengers”.
