Ridleys Coaches of Warwickshire has announced the arrival of seven new coaches, constituting a £2.4 million investment.
The Temsa HD13 and six Mercedes Benz Tourismos grow the Warwickshire operator’s fleet to 70 and will be used to expand its offerings in the corporate travel and holiday markets.
The Tourismo examples add to the five which Ridleys already has, while the business has doubled its Temsa collection, having been impressed with the 24-plate one it bought last year.
Ridleys, which transports over 3,000 children to and from school each day, hopes the new acquisitions, which arrived on 1 March, “will bolster the company’s ability to serve its existing clients while opening doors for future business opportunities”.
“We are incredibly proud to continue our investment in both our fleet and our dedicated drivers,” says Jordan Ridley, Managing Director at Ridleys Coaches.
“This expansion is an important step in our ongoing commitment to providing reliable, high-quality services to our community and clients.
“As a family-owned business, we are committed to investing in the future and creating a sustainable legacy in Warwickshire.”
The news comes less than four months after Ridleys confirmed an order for two new Scania Tourings.
