One of GM Coachwork’s longest-serving employees, accounts department head Lynne Johns, has retired after 29 years with the converter.
Lynne’s involvement began in 1988, when founder David Voogt asked her to help him with the accounts. In the early days of the business, that mainly involved collecting receipts and keeping simple books.
Lynne has seen GM grow from that to a multi-million pound enterprise – although until four years ago, she was still the only employee in accounts.
