Northamptonshire County Council has started a consultation about cuts to make £9.6m savings – including the axing of all bus subsidies in the county, 
including its contribution towards Call Connect and County Connect services. The measures, announced by County Council Leader Heather Smith (pictured) come into action from the next financial year.
