West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) has found alternative cover for four of the five services tendered to Yorkshire Buses, which ended operations on 31 March.
Services on the 30, 61, 116, and 212 routes will resume on 7 April after temporary contracts up until July were issued.
On Thursday afternoon, the authority said it was still working on provision for service 118.
Yorkshire Buses’ decision, announced just hours before the buses’ final return to the depot, was put down to rising operational costs.
The Wakefield-based business, which was established in 2020, also operated two commercial services.
The off-peak service 30 from Horsforth-Pudsey will be covered by Lethers Travel.
Connexions Buses has stepped in to provide the 61 from St James Hospital-Hunslet, while First Leeds will run service 116 from Leeds-Wakefield.
Service 212 between Wakefield-Dewsbury has been tendered out to Go-Ahead West Yorkshire.
The timetables and routes will remain the same.
WYCA says a wider procurement policy will decide the future of the routes from July onwards.
The authority is in the process of considering bids for the first round of the franchising roll-out, which is due in May 2027.
