Bus Users UK has released an all-new, free to access partner pack for Catch the Bus Month 2026, which will run throughout September. It gives organisations “everything they need to get involved” in this year’s proceedings.
Support for the 2026 celebration of bus travel is from infrastructure manufacturer Trueform. That sponsorship will help to expand the reach and impact of the campaign, which brings together operators, local authorities, community groups, charities, campaigners, governments, and passengers.
Catch the Bus Month will again showcase buses’ vital role in strengthening communities, protecting the environment, and driving economic growth. The partner pack includes fresh ideas, practical resources and customisable campaign materials, and has been created to make it easier than ever for organisations to get involved, engage audiences, and maximise impact.
Bus Users UK says that the partner pack will assist large-scale campaigns to community events and high-impact social media drives, giving practical tools and inspiration to help organisations to celebrate buses and encourage more people to choose sustainable transport.
For 2026, Catch the Bus Month partners can access:
-
- A new suite of professionally designed campaign assets in English and Welsh
- Ready-to-use and customisable posters and social media graphics for all platforms
- New campaign and event ideas suitable for organisations of all types and sizes
- A toolkit to help generate media coverage
- Up-to-date facts and statistics highlighting the social, economic and environmental value of coach and bus travel
- An improved online ordering system for the iconic red hands that accompany Catch the Bus Month
- New opportunities to showcase activities and achievements through the campaign website and through all Bus Users UK platforms.
Bus Users UK Chief Executive Lydia Horbury says that Catch the Bus Month “continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the incredible support of our partners across the UK.”
She continues: “For 2026, we have created our biggest and most dynamic partner pack yet, packed with fresh ideas, new resources and flexible campaign materials to help organisations to make the most of the month.
“Whether you are an operator, local authority, community group or government representative, there are countless ways to get involved. Together, we can champion better bus services, encourage more people to get on board, and ensure that buses continue to connect communities, support local economies, and drive positive change.”
Trueform CEO Jonathan Morley says it is pleased to support Bus Users UK and Catch the Bus Month. He notes how investment in roadside infrastructure is an essential to transforming the customer perception and experience of bus travel.
