A raft of improvements from day one, including full ticket integration (including both firm’s smartcards and rover tickets) and mobile tickets – with a £3m investment in 20 new buses to come – marked the completion of the purchase of Rossendale Transport by Transdev Blazefield.
Completion of the sale of the former municipal trading as Rosso, comprising 102 buses and the transfer of 240 staff, has now taken place [routeone/news/20 December].
The Council retains ownership of Haslingden depot, in support of its commercial investment strategy.
No immediate changes to Rosso routes, times or individual fares are being made.
