Dorset County Council (DCC) has received the last of no fewer than 31 Fiat Ducatos with Orion fully low-floor bodywork, supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).
All can carry up to 16 passengers and they have wheelchair access at both the front and rear doors. Additionally, a reversing camera has been specified by DCC.
Says Fleet Operations Manager Peter Colvin: “We operate 96 vehicles, 31 of which are from Mellor and we have been pleased with their reliability and flexibility.
“The Orion offers our passengers the comfort and accessibility that they require.”
