AAA Coaches of Kirknewton has added two Yutong TC9 midis to its fleet, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

Both are 37-seat examples, with each position trimmed in half-leather with headrest and shoulder inserts and matching curtains. Three-point belts are fitted along with the usual USB and 240-volt charging points.

The midicoaches carry 24-plate cherished registration marks and entered service on 1 March. They are to PSVAR ready specification to allow straightforward conversion later.

They were delivered to the West Lothian operator in all-over white during January and gained the operator’s livery in its own workshops. CCTV was also fitted during that period.

Power is from the Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

The deal was completed for Pelican by Area Sales Manager Bob Elliott, who notes that the TC9s represent an example of growing conquest business for the dealership in Scotland. AAA Coaches now also has a larger Yutong GT12 on order for delivery later this spring.
