Southall-based operator Highway Coaches has returned to Moseley in the South (01823 653000) for a further VDL Futura FHD2, the fourth example of the type it has taken from the dealership in recent years.
The newest coach is a 12.2m model. It is powered by the latest-generation DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp, which is coupled to a ZF EcoLife fully-automatic gearbox.
55 seats are fitted along with a continental door and climate control. Also part of the specification is a comprehensive interior and exterior CCTV system.
The 12.2m model is complemented in the Futura FHD2 range by 10.6m, 12.9m and 13.5m examples on two axles. Tri-axle and double-decker variants are also offered by the Moseley group of companies.
