Swindon operator Barnes Coaches has added a further Mercedes-Benz Tourismo to its fleet, supplied by EvoBus (UK).
The M/2 model seats 53 in Softline upholstery with black leather-effect bolsters and contrasting red piping. Also provided are drop-down tables, footrests, a water boiler for the preparation of hot drinks, a fridge, USB charging points and a toilet
The coach additionally comes with a variety of safety features: Active Brake Assist 4, lane departure warning, a rear-view camera and an electronic stability programme.
The Tourismo is completed in Barnes’ trademark green-based livery that has been employed for over 40 years and joins other such coaches already with the Wiltshire firm. The newcomer’s name will be announced “very soon,” says the operator.
