VDL Futura FDD2 for C G Myall and Son is 14.1m long and it has 96 seats

C G Myall and Son, of Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire, has added the first VDL coach to its fleet in the form of a Futura FDD2, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

The 14.1m double-decker comes with no fewer than 96 Class 90 seats finished in a red moquette and a Bosch Professional Line entertainment system with multiple monitors across both saloons is fitted.

The operator’s traditional livery suits the FDD2’s lines well, and the coach boasts a large field of vision for the driver thanks to an upper deck floor that is angled upwards at the front to allow a large lower windscreen.

Power is from a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 510bhp coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual gearbox with an Intarder.
