Good experience with an earlier Volvo led Richard Taylor back to marque

Hitchin-based Richard Taylor Travel has purchased a B8R with Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

The 38-seater has been chosen for its size and it also comes following good performance from an earlier Volvo, says Partner and Operations Manager Jade Taylor.

“We needed a new coach and were in the market for something smaller. The B8R SC5 is a great fit for us.

“The coach will be used for school trips, private hires and for one of our regular clients, Hitchin Town FC. We needed a vehicle that is versatile for our varied range of customers and able to navigate the narrow streets around Hitchin town centre.”

The B8R SC5 is 10.3m long and delivers 6m3 of luggage space.
