Cheshire Travel Services has taken its first vehicle from the Yutong stable with the delivery of a TC9 midi, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.
The Frodsham operator has chosen a 37-seat example that comes with half-leather trim including red inserts and three-point belts. Standard 240v and USB charging points are fitted along with a Bosch entertainment system, wood effect flooring, a fridge, and more.
It is prepared for later PSVAR compliance, with an additional door ahead of the rear axle. A continental exit is on the offside behind the drive wheels. Power comes from the Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
Feedback from other operators about Pelican’s aftersales service was an influence in the decision by Cheshire Travel Services to take a TC9, Pelican UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins says.
The vehicle has a cherished registration mark noting both its owning business’s initials and the Yutong name.
