Stockton-on-Tees operator Croft Coach Travel has taken delivery of its first new full-size coach in the form of a VDL Futura FHD2, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).
The 12.9m FHD2 has 57 Vogel Conturo seats with leather trim, drop-down tables, footrests and magazine nets. It also has a compact centre sunken freshwater toilet along with a drinks machine and fridge.
Entertainment is from a Bosch Professional Line multimedia system that incorporates a radio, DVD player, PA system and two 19in monitors.
DAF’s MX-11 engine is fitted, rated at 370bhp and driving through a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
The FHD2 complements an Indcar-bodied Mercedes-Benz Atego midicoach, delivered last year and also supplied by Moseley (PCV).
