Bromyard, Herefordshire-based DRM Bus has purchased a B8RLE with MCV Evolution bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).
Rapid delivery was one of the main attractions behind the deal, says Owner David Morris, but the new bus’ safety specification – including three-point belts – was also important, he adds, as children will be among its passengers.
“Volvo had the availability and the vehicle specification that we were looking for, and at a competitive price. The bus will be used on services for Herefordshire County Council as well as school contracts.”
