Dovers’ latest Tourliner is a 12.1m P21 model that seats 49 passengers

Dovers Coaches of Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear, has purchased a Neoplan Tourliner P21, supplied by MAN Bus and Coach (01793 448000).

The 12.1m Tourliner has 49 Kiel seats with USB charging points at each one, and it also comes with Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.

Power is from the 12.4-litre D26 engine rated at 420bhp driving through a 12-speed ZF AS-Tronic automated manual gearbox.

The coach also has MAN’s EfficientRoll and EfficientCruise economy programmes. They both use knowledge of topography to reduce fuel consumption.

The coach continues Dovers’ trust in the Neoplan product. All five of its vehicles are Tourliners. The new example will be utilised on a wide variety of work, including tours, corporate hires, education contracts, day trips and more.
