The 14.1m Irizar i8 integral for Ferris Holidays will work to Spain and back

Ferris Holidays has purchased an i8 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

The coach will be used primarily on the operator’s Platinum service to Spanish holiday resorts and it is the first Irizar integral to join the Nantgarw fleet.

52 leather-trimmed seats with three-point belts, extensive leg room and USB charging points are fitted to the 14.1m coach, which is powered by a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 510bhp.

Says Director Lisa Ferris-Edwards: “Platinum is a brand within a brand for us, and it gives passengers increased leg room and better seating.

“We normally run double-deckers on our Platinum service, but the i8 integral answered our requirements for a spacious single-decker.”

Other amenities include a coffee machine and a driver’s bunk.
