Q-Park’s five ADL Enviro200s are 8.9m models that carry 50 passengers

Airport parking operator Q-Park has added five Alexander Dennis Enviro200s to its fleet for work at Heathrow, supplied on a rental basis by Dawsongroup Bus and Coach (01908 218111).

They are 8.9m models that have extensive luggage racking in addition to a capacity of 50 passengers.

They replace a fleet of minibuses and are providing transport between Purple Parking’s Bath Road facility and terminals.

Says Transport Manager Jim Betchley: “As the business grows and passenger numbers increase, it is important that we continue to review demand and the best way to move people quickly and efficiently.

“The Enviro200 has a reputation second-to-none, offering outstanding passenger capacity and luggage space. Another important issue for us was the vehicle’s turning circle and overall manoeuvrability.”
