Three 12.9m, 57-seat Irizar i6 integrals join The Swallow Coach Company

Rainham, Essex-based The Swallow Coach Company has taken delivery of three i6 integrals, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514) as it prepares for London’s ULEZ.

All are 12.9m, two-axle 57-seaters. They each come equipped with three-point belts, a reversing camera, a vacuum cleaner and a comprehensive entertainment system among other refinements.

Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp. Two of the coaches have ZF AS-Tronic gearboxes and the third an EcoLife.

Says Director Ricky Webb: “We’ve had Irizar-bodied coaches before, but these are our first integrals and our first with DAF engines.

“We are impressed with the quality of the product, and the factory in Spain where they are built.” Maintenance will be handled in-house with the support of a two-year warranty.
