Four B8R SB3s for Reays; another two to follow

Reays Coaches of Carlisle has added four B8Rs with 72-seat Sunsundegui SB3 bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

They will be utilised on school duties, and the ability to transport two classes on each coach was particularly attractive, says MD Chris Reay.

“We heard some good things about the B8R, so when we needed four new coaches for our expanding school contracts, we turned to Volvo, which offers vehicles that have served us well in the past.

“From our understanding of its fuel consumption and reliability, the B8R is the perfect solution. We also needed coaches that would be robust due to the high footfall that they will see.”

Two more B8R SB3s have been ordered by Reays for September delivery.
