Henry Cooper Coaches of Annitsford has taken delivery of a Volvo B8R with Plaxton Panther bodywork, supplied by Alexander Dennis.
It follows previous Volvo Plaxton coaches into the Northumberland operator’s fleet and has 53 seats along with a floor-mounted rear toilet. PSVAR compliance is also part of the specification, with a lift positioned ahead of the rear axle and destination displays in silver LEDs.
Arrival of the coach is part of an ongoing plan to upgrade the Henry Cooper fleet to Euro VI and it replaces a B9R Panther dating from 2013.
The newcomer will be mainly utilised on private hire with occasional tour work, and it was built to the specification of Owner Graham Greaves. It is set off by a traditional cherished registration mark.
