Readybus has taken delivery of an Irizar i8 integral to Leger Shearings’ Luxuria specification. It has been supplied by Irizar UK.
The 14m tri-axle has just 31 seats. They are in 2+1 configuration and finished in leather to give space and luxury for passengers on the top-end Luxuria product, and they come with leg rests and multi-position foot rests along with USB and 240v charging points.
Also part of the seat specification are drop-down tables and magazine nets. Each position additionally has an Azimut entertainment system incorporating its own screen, which allows travellers to select movies and TV shows from a variety of options.
At the centre of the coach is a servery that incorporates a sink and a Flavia 500 coffee machine and which has a Corian work surface. The i8 integral also has a built-in vacuum cleaner and LED exterior lights. Power is from the DAF MX-13 engine developing 483bhp driving through a ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
