Up to three wheelchair users can be carried on Leons’ VDL Futura FHD2

Stafford-based Leons Coaches has taken delivery of a VDL Futura FHD2, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000) and painted in the operator’s distinctive burgundy livery.

The 12.9m coach is powered by a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

It has 53 Vogel LS40 seats with Prestige upholstery and leather headrests and piping, along with three-point belts, drop-down tables and magazine nets.

Part of the specification is access for wheelchair users. Up to three can be carried, and they are loaded via a lift and side door above the rear axle.

Passenger amenities include a toilet, fridge, drinks machine and Bosch Professional Line multimedia entertainment system that includes DVB-T digital TV.
