57-seat i6 integral finished in Meadway’s metallic distinctive green livery

Meadway Coaches of Birmingham has taken delivery of an i6 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

The 12.9m 57-seater has a centre sunken toilet, a Bosch audio and Actia video system with two monitors, and a vacuum cleaner. It is powered by the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp driving through ZF’s EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Director Christopher Walton has named the coach after his uncle, Albert Jeys, who founded the business in 1966. He says the decision to go for an i6 integral was made because of the overall good-value package, strong kerb appeal and extensive luggage space.

Although the coach will primarily be used on corporate work and tours, it will also handle school duties as needed.
